How to Become A Member
When a person feels God has led them to unite with Christ's church they are really saying, 'I want to profess my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and unite with this congregation of believers."
In joining the church, you will vow to God and the church as follows:
- To confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and pledge your allegiance to His Kingdom.
- To receive and profess the Christian faith as contained in the Scriptures.
- To promise, according to the grace given you, to live a Christian life and always remain a faithful member of Christ's Holy Church.
- To be loyal to the United Methodist Church and uphold it in your prayers, your presence, your gifts, and your service.
We at Charity prayerfully urge you to consider becoming a member of this congregation of believers by transfer of your membership or by profession of your faith. Also, a member of the United Methodist Church residing for an extended period of time away from their home church may be enrolled as an Affiliate Member; a member of another denomination may become an Associate Member under the same conditions.
If you want more information about the church, please contact the Reverand Bob Sharp at 426-7296.
